Samsung G800 Released on O2, Samsung G800 UK

After the success of the Samsung G600 as the manufacturers first 5.0 megapixel camera phone the coimpany have now launched the new Samsung G800 on O2.
This new model features a different design and some interesting new features and technology not seen in a Samsung phone before.
Originally released on Vodafone, the Samsung G800 is far squarer in form than the G600 and thicker by comparison, the advent of its release on O2 means that customers now have a far greater variety of tariffs to choose from to suit their usage.
The Samsung G800 has a 5 megapixel camera with auto focus, 3x optical zoom and xenon flash. The camera is the most advanced to date on a Samsung phone, it has digital image stabilisation, red-eye reduction, wide dynamic range and face detection. The special casing ensures good grip, and the lens and flash are protected by a stylish lens lid. The G800 is a 3G phone, which means fast web browsing, video streaming and music downloads. It also has HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access) for even higher data downloads with speeds of up to 3.6 Mbit/sec. Other features include TV out for viewing images and videos on your big screen, FM Radio, a good music player, decent video recording and a unique dual Bluetooth mode which means you can connect to another Bluetooth device while you are listening to music wirelessly.
The new camera features certainly set the G800 apart from the G600, however it also sets it apart from most mobile phones in that this is a more camera than communication focused handset.
