Samsung G800 the Digital Camera

Samsung have really done it this time…stand above the other mobile phone companies. With the introduction of the Samsung G800 in October 2007 at a Dutch dealer event, the camera mobile phone industry was truly revolutionized.
Samsung G800 is outfitted with a 3.7 volt Lithium-ion battery which offers over eight hours of talk time and a 370 hours standby time. Of course this is only for calling and text messaging. If the camera is frequently used you need to recharge the mobile phone after a few hours as the battery time is considerably reduced.
From the back, a Samsung G800 looks like a digital camera. A cover that slides open and close shelters the lens and the Xenon flash. At a glance you would think that it is a very compact digital camera. Only on closer inspection will you see that it is a mobile phone after all. As a mobile phone, Samsung G800 is a bit on the bulky side but it still fits the hand nicely.
The Samsung G800 is possibly the most innovative mobile phone camera. Photographic possibilities of distant subjects are greatly enhanced with the 3 x optical zoom. Distant objects are magnified and what is more admirable with this feature is the fact that the focus is not lost when it is zoomed in. This mobile phone camera is equipped with auto focus assist lamp so that if darkness makes focusing a problem, a red light will expose the subject and the camera can focus correctly.
Another plus factor of the Samsung G800 is the electronic stabilizer which enables the user to focus on moving objects. By using the image stabilizer you can do away with blurry pictures even if you are shooting indoors and the light is poor. Overall, the Samsung G800 is capable of producing superior images.
