Samsung G800 Turns Heads and Minds

The new entry into the Samsung G series is the G800, a stylish, sturdy, compact phone which will suit all your needs whether they are personal or business. The G800 isn’t the smallest phone you are going to buy at 101mm x 51.1mm x 18.8mm but that is because of its massive 2.4 inches screen and large keypad for ease of use but it does it all without ever feeling too bulky. Weighing in at 134g it is also not the lightest phone but again, the weight just makes the phone feel sturdier and sits reassuringly heavy in your pocket without ever feeling cumbersome. When it comes to looks, the G800 utilises the slide feature, always a cool look, and comes in either silver or black colours giving it that modern feel.

The phone uses 3G HSDPA which essentially means broadband internet access for you mobile which is accessed via a WAP 2.0 browser and allows for such extras as RSS feeds. It is also possible to send SMS and MMS messages containing pictures and video which you have created from the excellent in built 5 megapixel camera. The camera is probably the G800s main selling point, including 3 x optical zoom and Xenon flash it can produce some truly excellent pictures comparable to professional photos. The G800 also comes with 160MB internal memory, plenty of room to store all your pictures and videos and is also upgradeable to 2GB via memory card.

The phones menu system is extremely easy to get to grips with and you’ll soon find yourself filling up the 1000 phone book spaces you have with all your friends and business contacts. Add to this all the standard extras for mobile phones such as alarm clock, calculator and vibration alert and you have a phone which you surely can’t live without.
